
Dr. Sani obtained his medical diploma from the University of Tehran. Internship followed at the Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, New York 1973-74
Dr. Sani started his ophthalmology training in 1974 at the University Hospital of the University of Saskatchewan in Canada. He then did a fellowship in Glaucoma from 1977 to 1978 at the prestigious George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Sani was in private practice at the Daniel Boone Clinic in Middlesboro, Kentucky 1978 till 1982. He then moved to Templeton where he established the Sani Eye Center and has been serving this community for the past 21 years.
Dr. Sani is a fellow of American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCS) and the International College of Surgeons (FICS).

Dr. Sani is a keen gardener and is often found tending to his orchard during his free time. Woodworking and building kit cars are more recent interests.
